VIBE EN306TV-S Media Player has problems with Xvid file playback.

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum and need some advice on what to do.
I have one of these portable media players but I have a problem with Xvid codecs. Divx encoded files work fine just Xvid is the problem. The manufacturer does NOT offer a firmware upgrade so that option is gone.
The files play on my PC but not on my EN306TV-S.

Should I recode the xvid files to divx? Do you think that will fix my issues? Can this be done?
Can you folks please recommend a program.

The files start playing jittery, pixelated and then freeze.

I really need your help on this please.
