I have two CD/DVD drives: NEC DVD RW (F) and Sony CD RW (G). Audios and videos can be played on both, but... when I insert blank DVD (or even CD!) into F, a dialog box pops up that reads: "Drive F is not accessible. Incorrect fubcton". Disks could be switched, for CDs, but I want to copy a video and videorecording can only be done on F.
    What gives?

Has it always been like that, or is this recent? Did you add any programs just before the problem started? What burning programs do you have? Check the drives for DMA/PIO modes.
To check DMA/PIO mode within Windows:

    Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager>IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.

From there, right click on one of the channels and choose 'Properties>Advanced Settings'. All drives should be DMA mode. The 'Current Transfer Mode' for Hard drives is usually DMA 4-6 and DVD burners DMA 2-4, DVD ROMs usually DMA 2. If you see any in PIO mode, that can slow things down.

Changing them back may be easy or complicated. First see if you can change them in that window. If not, I usually uninstall the channel the drive is on and let the OS reinstall it. This will usually take a reboot. This will not damage any files on the computer.

Thank you redwudz, DMA is 2 on primary channel and 5 on secondary channel, both are gray and I cannot (nor want) to change them. In general, everything was tip-top wnen I used the burner last time, ~ 1 month ago. I installed the latest offered update for Any DVD (6.1.6.9) ~ 2 weeks ago and tried the program first time since. Instead of usual sheepish interface, a window "About Any DVD" appeared; no buttons there.
