I've successfully got a 5.1 AC3 via BeSweet, and I've even got an mpg with colorbars and a 5.1 audio stream via an AviSynth script run through QuEnc, thanks to gadgetguy and anyone else who contributed to the thread on the audio forum.

Unfortunately, the AC3 file is crashing Adobe Ecnore DVD 2.0, and although the mpg is accepted by the program, it only has transcoding options for stereo, no 5.1 transcoding options.

Does anyone know how I would be able to incorporate 5.1 on DVDs, perhaps an alternate transcoder that I could use in Encore, or some other (reasonably priced) authoring tool that allows for 5.1 audio streams, or perhaps some sort of muxer/demuxer that dould take apart VOBs and then rebuild them with another audio stream... or something.

    Thanks a bunch!
