    My current DVD drive is dead, looking to buy a new drive, mostily going to use to rip dvd's and watch them. Any and all help would be greatily appreciated. New to the scene and what to start off with the right hardware.[/b]

    I use DVD Lite On. It works and it's cheap. i just bought one for $52.99.
