    Hi guys,

I burnt a home movie and noticed that one of the movies(chapters) was dodge, the film was out of sync with the audio?

I therefore started again and burnt a new project but this chapter is still out of sync? it's the only file i got from VHS and the file on my PC works fine with everything in sync but when it comes to burning it doesn't like it???

Any help would be great? i never had this problem before? im using pinnacle 9?

    Thanks

  4. Source of the capture - TV, VHS, camcorder.
Device - capture card, analog to digital standalone device - model please..
Capture to - device, video file type (do not say it is .avi. Avi is container that may contain many video file types)
Intend to - make Video DVD, only archiving edited material, watch on computer
Editing - program used (and the version number please), output options,
Convert to - application used (version number), output settings
Authoring - application used (version number)
Burn - application used (version number)

To avoid some confusion burning is the physical recording of the data to burnable media without the data to be changed.

Ok - i tried to burn the AVI file on it's own and it came out ok?

I think it's due to the quality? when i burn with the movie it was 44% but when i burnt on my own it was 100% and it worked fine?

adamstillwell - Since you're a new member, at the risk of sounding like a "grammar Nazi" I'd like to give you 2 suggestions for your posts if you want to get help here in the future.

    1) Avoid using "Britishisms" (UK slang) like "dodge". Outside of maybe Australia, nobody uses this word. I know what it means but I bet most foreigners and most Americans (there are a lot of us here on these forums) won't know what you are talking about. The clearer you can state your problem and the less slang you use, the better.
    2) Can you write a sentence without ending it in a question mark? Putting one of the end of everything you write is not only wrong grammatically, it makes it really hard to know whether something is actually working for you or not. Your 2nd post seems to indicate that you got it to work, but you have all these crazy question marks all over the place. It's not helping to make you understood better.
