    Anyone have any ideas?

    Calling all experts!

    I am having trouble with playing dvd+rw disks with my DVD Player.
    I am using a HP DVD100i.

    I confirmed with HP's compatibility chart that the Samsung dvd-m301 player is compatible but have had no luck getting disks to play.

    I used the compatibility mode software to switch between mode 1 & 2 for the burner and disks but have had no luck.

    I would appreciate any leads.

    Another Question...

    Does the "DVD Compatibility Utility" have any affect when changing modes to allow playback of DVD+RWs?

    I'd really like to know if my Samsung dvd-m301 can play back these disks before I buy something else.
