  1. :D this movie was so good!! The storyline was great. Its funny, actioned packed, emotionally captivating, and filled with special effects.

The Goblins toys are awesome, and so are Spideys!!

If you have not seen it yet, go SEE IT!! You'll actually have fun watching it and wishing to be bitten by one of those genetically enchanced spiders just so you can climb walls. Its entertainment, period.

So anyone else seen it? What was your favorite part? Won't spoil it for anyone but the Wrestling and Randy Macho MAN was really funny!!

hell no...the reason to pay the $6 (yes, always goto the matinee and not the regular $10 at night shows) is to to experience all the special affects w/ the huge-ass theater and surround sound

watching a TS shitty, dark camcorder version isn't worth it for this awesome movie (just watching it on a TV isn't even gonna compare w/ watching spider-man on the big screen)...it's awesome and definitely worth the money

  4. it does rule if you just downloaded the dvd screener converted to svcd and watch it on a shweet home theater system..

  5. hrm...dunno how any home TV can compare with those giant screen stadium seating movie theaters

  6. well, of course, there isnt much comparison.. but its still pretty shweet.. alot better than watching a crappy vcd telesync on a 19' tv.

  9. oh your right, it would be so much better watching this movie in a theartre packed with little kids screaming and yelling, why did i waste my time watching it in the comfort of my home, with a beer in one hand and something to smoke in the other. Oh so much better the theatre would have been.
And to the other person who made some mention on having to support the "good movies" think you picked the wrong flick for that statement. Its nothing more than another over hyped average hollywood movie. When i think back to all the bad movies i paid to see, over and over again before highspeed came along, i just consider this making up for it.

    Hey Alive!

I totally agree with you--this movie was way worth shelling out a few bucks for and as long as those losers who watch those video taped versions stay home --suits me fine --better seat for me! I just hope they dont ruin it with some lame ass sequel just to make a few more bucks. I hear they have already started work on number 2. If you like the superhero movies this one is a must see.

I will as long as they explain how bruce banner always found new clothes after becoming the hulk and no one noticed that he changed his clothes so often

oooh yer damn right. and the luxury of pausing the movie to go take a dump from the excellent fast food you were eating while watching the actual movie, and not the ******* previews..

and man, the thing about the smokes. hell yes.. i hate having to sit through movies and not being able to smoke.. or having to take a piss and coming back and being lost as to what happened..

if they came out with some kind of technology where i could watch a new theater release movie (good quality) once on my computer (tv-out, if they macro'd it, that'd be fine too), i would definetly be willing to pay, say $10. i mean, the luxury is well worth it..

wut...$4..you're kidding me...a matinee ticket is $5.75, maybe if you're getting the SVCD for free, it's ok..but paying for it (nearly the price of watching it at a theater) is not worth it at all

an extra $1.75 to watch it in a theater w/ stadium seating, surround sound, big-ass screen is well worth it

as for wut mrpink wrote, it depends on when you go watch it....i usually watch it during the afternoons w/ the cheaper tickets and less people, so screaming kids aren't usually a problem

as for jeex, you got a point about taking a piss and the food/drink, but i'll rather watch the special effects on a huge-ass screen than on any size TV, especially if i have to pay $4 for it

of course, if it was some stupid non-special effect comedy like austin powers, then i guess this arguement probably wouldn't exist

yeah, your right. but the feeling of actually owning it before alot of people is great. and plus you can watch it if the tickets are all sold out =)

  22. i was just watching spiderman and i noticed an inconsistency (i know i mispelt that, heh).. anyhow here goes;

when peter is in the fight with flash in the school, after he grabs his arm and punches him, flash flies down the hall running in to a teacher who then winds up dumping his lunch on flash.. if you'll notice, all of the contents of the tray fall on flash, and then mysteriously the pudding falls on him again, comedicaly on his face. how can that be? it cant. just a little bit of video editing handy work. i wonder if they'll fix this for the dvd?

  23. i don't think they will it was done for comic effect... most movies have illogical little things like that... and i haven't seen a movie yet where they take out mistakes that where there in the theatres. Any ways most ppl wont notice.

You aint the only one to notice this -> http://www.movie-mistakes.com/film.php?filmid=2225
Apparently, the film is clocking up an unusually high "bug count", faster than any other movie ever has.
