  1. Hello , I am so called newbie or what ever you called to somone that know sh*t in video , and i record some Tv Show from digital cable tv with my Tv Card , now i have about 8 GB of video that have alot of commercial inside it , So i want to Cut and join all the chapter so it will be without any commercials and then convert it with AutoGk ,

    Any help will be appreciated /:

    Videoredo if you have recorded in mpg or a transport stream(ts).

    I would also recommend VideoReDo. If you recorded in AVI format, you'll need a different program as VideoReDo only works with MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video, which includes TS. VideoReDo is not free, but it's also not expensive and it's well worth the cost.

  4. Well i am recording in .Avi format so what kind of app would fit for that ?

    And another question in the recorded movie i noticed some kind of lines on the screen only when there is a quick running picture , I thoug its maby the specific tv show ,But it also hapen i comrecials any ideas what could it be .

    I am using PicVideo Mjpeg Codec VFW (setting of quality to 19) /

    VirtualDub is good (best) for cutting parts out of AVI. Just make sure you set both audio and video to direct stream before saving out your new AVI.
    In fact, you can set output audio and video codec to something like MP3/XviD (and use full processing when saving) to eliminate the AutoGK step alltogether.
    The lines you see are most likely interlace lines. If you want your final product to play at a TV, don't worry. It's as it should look.
    If you however want nice computer playback, apply some kind of deinterlace filter in VirtualDub while you're at it.
