OK, I'm looking for suggestions as to what I can do to make this happen.
I am trying to make an episodic DVD out of XviD files (they are HR PDTV files if that matters) and I also have seperate audio commentaries for each episode that I wish to include on these DVDs. What can I do to make this happen, like how would I go about doing this? I know it's kind of a broad question but I'm just seeing what my options are.

ConvertXtoDVD supports multiple audio tracks and handles xvid fine.
If you want advanced menus you could convert with convertxtodvd and then import in tda, dvd-lab pro. Or convert to dvd mpg with separate encoders like tmpgenc xpress, etc and then author. -
actually i've tried adding the commentary tracks to the videos using ConvertXtoDVD but it doesn't work... am I doing something wrong?
Let me specify: the audio commentaries I have are seperate files altogether from the video; like the videos are xvid and the commentaries are from podcasts. I've tried converting the podcast commentary to .wav then adding it as an extra audio track in ConvertXtoDVD - didn't work, program wouldn't allow it. -
Latest TMpgenc dvd author supports 2 audio tracks.
what is the error msg in convertxtodvd? or cant you add separate files? or? -
If you want to use ConvertXtoDVD then you need to add the second audio track to the avi first. Virtualdubmod is a simple way to do it (Streams->Stream List, Add)

hey thanks for the help, sorry for the late response.
Now I tried TMPG DVD Author and, while the extra audio track is there which is great, I see very little options for customizing your menu. I'd like a menu creating system where I can add buttons and choose their function, for instance: Adding one button that plays 'Track1' with 'audio stream 1' and then adding a second button that plays 'Track1' with 'audio stream 2'. Ya know what I mean? Basically I'd like a system where I can create buttons and choose which video track they play and which audio stream. Any suggestions? Am I missing something in TMPG DVD Author? Should I just create an entirely different thread addressing this question? Thanks. -
DVD Lab Pro makes this a doddle (technical term).
