Looking at these, what is the difference? I thought that the datalifeplus label was the premium version, but I see that it is less expensive than the 'regular' verbatim at rima. Are they both MCC made?

archaeo mentions Rima.com so I assume he is in the US. Verbatim 16x DVD-R is going to be MCC 03RG20 of either Prodisc or CMC origin. Both are good but most prefer the CMC the best.
If you buy the 50 count cakeboxes in stores you can distinguish CMC versus Prodisc quite easily. The CMC ones have the LOCK <--> OPEN on the lid in a serif font. Prodisc is sans serif font. Here's a link to what I mean:

The Verbatim branded TY are available in Europe and possibly elsewhere but not in the US. Good luck -
Actually: If I'm going to get verbatims, I'd prefer the MCC (Mitsubishi Chemical Corp) variety.
CMCs and ProDisc are crap in comparison.;/ l ,[____], Its a Jeep thing,
l---L---o||||||o- you wouldn't understand.

thanks, but getting back to the question: what is verbatim's 'datalifeplus' 16x? Any different than their 'regular' 16x?
