Hi
I dunno whether this was the right forum, but it was as close as i could find.
I need help on the playback of vcds on my playstation.
I have a vcd adapter for the playstation and when i play vcds , its usually a bit strechted out horizontally so i cant see subtitles etc, but when i press the start button on the controller, it usually fixes it because it turns on PBC(i think thats wot it is, it allows forwarding, pausing etc).
Here's the problem, i got this Karaoke vcd, and the words of the second line on the bottom are hidden because the screen is streched again, only this time, pressing start to turn on PBC ISNT WORKING!!!! Karaoke just isnt karaoke without the words!!!!! I've tried playing the vcd on the comp n it works fine, i can see the words, so i dont think its the disc (as in its not faulty).
Can someone PLLLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZ help me?!?!?!!
thank you very very much
Lazerin
ps I think PBC stands for PlayBack Control

Hijacked thread!
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war." -
You stole Lazerin's thread. He started by asking a question, but under his question you ask another question instead of posting it yourself in the forum. Thus you Hijacked his thread. Next time start your own to ensue people will see your question topic and not another.

What does that mean? btw, next time why don't you post you question in ALL the forums.

A Playstation One and a Dreamcast can play VCDs but.........
THEY CAN NOT PLAY THEM WORTH A SHIT!!
The problems you are having are the same as anyone gets. These machines are not designed to play VCD movies, They are designed for playing Video Games.
