    Howdy all,

I have a LG DR165 DVD Recorder which plays DivX files. The Playable Codec formats as listed by the manual are DIV3, MP43, DIVX, XVID, DX50.
I have a TV series of which some episodes are DivX (which play fine), & some are DivX YV12 (which dont play - error: Format Cannot Be Played). Is there any way to convert the YV12 files to a playable format?

    Thanks, Nathan

YV12 is the colourspace used by DivX. All DivX files are YV12. Possible the message is due to DivX being registered on your system as DX50 and YV12 (vidc.DX50 & vidc.YV12) or the files actually have the fourCC YV12 (should be used for raw YV12 only).

VirtualDub if you want more control.
