  1. Hello out there. I will be purchasig a 32" HDTV that has the VGA connector--along with all the other ones.

The TV is 1366X768 but my CPU's ATI graphics card has a max output resolution of 1360X768. What will happen with the six less lines of resolution going to the HDTV from my computer? Will it cause distortion or an overscan problem?

I am trying to eliminate an old 20" analog TV and my 17" Dell Computer monitor and replace both of these with the HDTV and use it as my Computer monitor and TV.

Its a Costco Deal, LCD SCEPTRE X32GV-KOMODO model at an attractive price. Since I've never seen anyone use a 32" HDTV as a computer monitor, I don't kknow if there are any pitfalls or other considerations. Could anybody who uses this kind of set up advise me on things that are good or bad? Heck, its hard just trying to ask a question about a topic you have limited knowledge of. Thanking you all in advance for any support.

  2. Well to be honest youu will have some problems with the res anyhow. I have a full 1080p Sony Bravia and I cannot go above the res you say with VGA.... I think the screen will look fine with the missiing lines. Well, nothing you might notice.
