I'm trying to re-encode a WMV but I get the following error message:
The video specs are basically the same (resolution, bitrate, etc).Code:The following error occurred while setting up the source 'Source 1': The parameter is incorrect: (0x80070057)
any ideas how to get rid of this error and resolve this?
TIA

oh, sorry. I'm using Windows Media Encoder 9 and re-encoding a WMV to WMV so I can edit and add the attributes/metadata and make the video Zune compliant

Check for the following options:
1. Session Properties -> “Source” tab, select the ‘source from’ as ‘File’
2. Session Properties -> “Output” tab, check only the ‘encode to file’ option -
the source and output are indeed pointing to a file
any other ideas?
