    Hello.

I'm editing my own re-mix version of a movie that I own, to cut out some parts I don't like, and I'm having a terrible time trying to get the final .avi file's audio and video stay in sync.

I've ripped the DVD into a seperate .avi (23.93fps, huffyuv) and .wav file (48khz) and edited them using Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0 and when I scrub the play head or use the video player in Premiere, everything is in sync. Yet when I save the .avi from Premiere the audio always gets about 7 or 8 seconds out of sync.. I've even tried saving the audio and video seperately, comparing their time length (exactly the same) and using VobSubMod to build the final mix .avi and I still get the same problem.

I feel like I'm missing something obvious but I havn't found any useful information in the Adobe help documents or on various websites.

Anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it..?

    Thank you. :)

Progressive out sync? or same out of sync?
What framerate are you exporting to?

It appears to be constant. The video is about three or so seconds ahead throught.

I'm exporting to 23.98fps, which is the same fps as the original video, (I mistakenly wrote 23.93fps in the previous post), NTSC, 16:9 with the same huffyuv compression and keeping the audio at 48khz, 16bit, uncompressed.

I may have figured it out: Seems like the outputted .avi video jumps anywhere I left a gap between video clips, throwing it out of sync with the audio. I've filled the gaps with a black bitmap and I'm doing another render now.

    *fingers crossed*
