    Hi.
I have a couple of movies(divx, xvid...) on my computer each one is about 700mg...
i would like to know if there is a way to burn these movies on a dvd disc that will play them on my dvd player...
i tried burning all the files on a dvd disc and play them but the dvd player wont let me see the files... i suppose i need to do something or make a special burning...
my purpose is to fit all the movies on one disc and not to convert a movie to a dvd so it will weight 4gb...

    thanks

You don't need to do anything but burning as DATA DVD, and your player must of course be DivX compliant

If your player doesn't accept DivX then you must convert

    that's all

  4. Most players on the planet are categorized in the list to your left as to what they will and will not play. If you had filled in this information in your profile, some kind soul would probably have taken pity on you and done this simple, basic lookup for you.

Almost all Divx-certified players will play Xvid as well, with some well-documented exceptions regarding encoding methods such as QPEL. I have seen no information whatsoever regarding "ETC" files.
