  1. If at all possible, exchange that Power Supply before installing the new Mobo.

    You do not want to damage $300 worth of parts for a $45 power supply.

    You may need a new one anyway for the connectors for mobo and videocard.

    Guy at the shop did the upgrades for me, my old mobo's capacitors were fried hence the lock up's, and my HD also died during the upgrade so that was on it's last legs too. Everything is running sweet now.
