    Ihave a panasonic vcr NV-HD685. The display reads F-06. Anyone know what this fault code means?

    6 = MECHANISM STOPPED DURING TAPE-IN OR EJECT

    Try un plugging for at least 30 minutes and then plug in again.

    using an internet search engine usually find these answers.
    PAL/NTSC problem solver.
    USED TO BE A UK Equipment owner., NOW FINISHED WITH VHS CONVERSIONS-THANKS
