    I have several audio (music) files on my hard drive that I captured off of XM Radio. I would like to convert these to MP3 format. Is there a good program that can take various audio formats and convert them to MP3 format?

    You can use for example SUPER, select MP3 as output container and then add all audio files(it supports most audio formats).

    I use GoldWave, but there are many tools available. Just a matter of trial and error until you find one that you like, same as any other software.
