My DVD Recorder is on the fritz, but I'm having trouble with Panasonic's support. It seems that the only people that can fix it under warranty are local repair places under contract with Panasonic who are:
1: 60 miles away from me
and
2: Are only open Tuesday - Friday from 10 to 4 (Explain that to your boss.)
I called Panasonic's customer service 3 times and got three different stories. Two places wanted me to mail my $300 purchase on my own to addresses that have no phone numbers.
What brand would you say has the best customer service? Do any of them send a paid mail truck to your house to pick up your hardware like Nintendo does?

I don't think anybody has great customer support. JVC does an okay job. I could name a few others, but they're not computer or video related.
