DVDDecrypter did not list a 2ch audio stream (IFO mode, stream processing), so I ripped the main movie using the 6ch english stream only. When I tried running that vob through PSPVideo9, it goes straight to "generating thumbnail" and finishes the encoding in about 2 seconds, with no usable mp4 file.
I recall something like this happening in the past, when I accidentally ripped the vob using the 6ch stream, then when i ripped it with the 2ch stream, PSPVideo9 worked great (maybe PSPVideo9 can't handle 6ch audio?). Unfortunately, this dvd does not even offer a 2ch stream.
What are my options for this vob? Do i need to demux the vob, transcode the 6ch audio into 2ch audio, then mux that 2ch audio with the video? Are all the tools to do this of the free variety?
Thanks!
Gary
