  1. I used a service to convert 5 1"videos to DVDs. They play fine in my Sony player. But I tried 3 different burners and a variety of software players and none of the discs will play in any of the burners. Any idea what the problem is?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean... Are you able to browse those DVDs with Windows Explorer?

  3. I can browse them. But I tried several different players and none of the DVDs load properly and they don't play. I tried loading a VOB into Womble Wizard and it said the VOB isn't valid. But they play fine in my standalone Sony player.

  4. The three computers I tried yesterday were PCs. I just tried a Mac and it played.

I found that I can't even copy from DVD to my hard drive. I get the message "Cannot copy. The parameter is incorrect".

However if I rip with DVD Decrypter then I play and edit it.

Most of the problems I've had is the other way around,,,,, they play fine in the computer, just not on my set-top box.
