  1. After i'm done encoding with TMPG Enc, the file keeps going i have to click stop and a msg pops up asking if i want to abort encoding, i click yes but the timer keeps going and doesn't stop, i tried to close the program but it asks the same thing and keeps going.
    what is wrong? i restarted the computer and it was fine but i don't wanna do this everytime i encode a file.
    SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

    Hey Macross,

    I came across the same problem. The only way I have found to solve it is to just wait....if you press the abort button and then click yes, it will eventually (within 5 or so minutes) stop and your file will work without having to restart. I am not sure why it works that way, but thats how i fixed it. Hope I could help. Bye

    TMPGEnc has always behaved this way, so I never thought of it as a problem. Its as if its doing some last-minute multiplexing, or adding bits of information to the file. It's only noticeable on longer encodes. I guess I still don't see this as a problem.

    As AntnyMD said, It's putting everyting together, writing the calculated endblocks and such (I believe...)
    If you merge files it will also do the same...
    It's worse with SVCD...
