I am making a dvd of photos with the pan/zoom and fade features but how do I make it so each photo fills 'the entire tv screen'? I unchecked in preferences/general: scale...to tv-safe region', but that didn't work. At the moment it's default and shows the entire photo (with blackness if necessary. I would like the screen to be filled with each photo as it fades and pan/zoom. HELP!
The best example I can give is that of one of the best screensavers called 'nostalgic' (h--p://greggman.com/nostalgic/)

    Thanks

  3. The only pcitures that will fill the screen are those in lanscape and with exact 4:3 or 16:9 ratio.

  5. I sympathize with your frustration. It really depends which software you are using. There are some software packages that will do this for you very well. Have you tried Ulead Slideshow or the similar Microsoft product?
I have a business doing this for people and use very expensive software. You can check this at viewpixmedia.com. I hope this is helpful to you.

I use this program quite abit to make movie clips and then usually incorporate that into another movie. What I do is for portrait pictures is to crop it to a landscape size and then have it pan up or down to the same size box. While you won't get all of the picture on the screen (unless you have it go too quickly) you can get 3/4 of the picture on the dvd.
    Good luck
