  1. Hi,

I'm trying to copy part of a friend's wedding video to showcase a singer. I can use DVD Decrypter to get a video file, but it's not creating an audio file. In examining the DVD, I discovered that Power DVD and VLC Media Player can play it just fine, but Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic play the video with no sound. Has anyone run across this before?

Use the latest g-spot (2.52beta) on the VOB files to tell you what type of audio you have.

  3. For audio, Gspot gives me: DVD_LPCM_AUDIO.
GSpot is able to render it just fine. I had planned to use TMPGEnc to edit the DVD, but I suppose I can find another freeware program to do so if necessary. It just bugs me that some of my software isn't accessing the codecs properly.
