  1. What is the settings to make the svcd appear in full screen and not 480 x 480. Is it the aspect ratio? Or is it when played back on a dvd player it fills out on the screen?
    Thanks

  2. standard SVCD is in the resolution 480x480 (for NTSC) or 480x576 (for PAL) The reason for this is because it is designed to be played back on a TV set and these figures are close to the number of visible lines on a TV screen obviously if you look at a 480x480 image on your computer monitor it will appear square but played back on your tv with a dvd player it will appear in 4:3 ratio.

  3. Your right the video will play back fne on a DVD player (and on your com with PowerDVD XP or WinDVD) as they'll take the aspect ratio of your MPEG file and play it back using that info to resize.
