I have seen posted elsewhere that people were using ffmegx to recode flv's into mp4 avi's. Some of the newer flash videos crash VLC after playing some. The log from iSquint shows it may be changing frame rates that cause VLC to hiccup.
Using ffmegx hasn't worked for this for me (version 0.9w, Panther 10.3.9, 1.25 GHz G4) Are there additional codecs that can be installed to make that possible?
My current workaround is to use iSquint.
