i captured some videos with a dc10+ capture card. now i want to view the avi s on another computer, running win xp, but the xp computer tells me that this codec is not on the system?
what can i do to use the avis on this xp computer, e.g. editing it with a ulead video editing system?

first you have to find out, with which encoder the avi is encoded(VirtualDub->dump).Then search the web with the FOURCC (name of the codec) code, download and install (in doubt use reg32.exe) the codec.
