SVCD Subtitles on Samsung DVD811

Hi,

I'm trying to play SVCD with subtitles on a Gradiente D22 (Samsung 811/812 OEM), I used the I-Author to create the discs my own and the Easy CD NTSC image on the What Is section to test, without success.
Pressing the subtitle button on remote, the selection menus appears, I select the subs, but nothing goes to screen.
The 2 audio tracks works fine.
Does somebody have experienced this ? Or another tool that create subs in SVCDs ?

I have this Gradiente D22 and I also notice this "problem". I think its a player limitation

Have you had any problem playing DVD with 2 layers in this player? Mine is not too old (less than a year) and sometimes it skips to the next chapter or it turn off and on in some DVDs and Im playing them.
