  1. Hey guys, i am new to this forum but i have a question that you may help me... I bought a capture card (Pinnacle Studio DC10+ ) but i live in Brazil, and our color system is PAL-M.
I can capture from my VCR, but color only appear in NTSC recorded tapes... and mostly of my tapes were recorded in PAL-M. do you have any idea of what can i do to get colors from those tapes?
i was planning to buy a PAL-M -> NTSC Converter.. .but i wish there is another way...

    i am waiting for suggestions.
    Thanks, Daniel

  2. sounds like you've got the capture settings at the default of NTSC - change it to PAL and you should be OK

  4. DC10+ is not compatible with PAL-M. You do need an external transcoder, since most VCRs in Brazil output only PAL-M.

I live in Brazil too and with my ATI AIW 128 PRO and MMC 7.1 i can record directly from sources (PAL-M) to Digital Video without transcoders. (I'm receiving ANTENNA SIGNALS in PAL-M too !!! , and recording all Casseta e Planeta shows ) !!!!
