Hi, I'm looking to buy a DVD recorder. I'm looking for a model that has RGB in and out, plus a DV input. I almost bought the panasonic DMR es20 (not the dvd & vhs model), but the honest salesman said that it doesnt have RGB in, although some reviews fail to mention it. Any recommendations? I'm in the UK. Thanks
Just read some stuff on the JVC DR-M100, seems to tick all the boxes, any opinions? Thanks

Which magazine (the consumers association) did a DVD recorder bulk test in Dec 2005 and the Panasonic DMR-ES10EB came out top so there can't be too much wrong with the es20.
I find the combination of features and supported DVD formats of the different machines quite bewildering sometimes so you might have to compromise. e.g. Panasonics dont support +RW discs which stops me from buying one. -
The 3 best brands, in no particular order, seem to be Pioneer, JVC and Toshiba. When I say "best" I am talking in terms of picture quality of the recorded image.
So try to find one of those with RGB and DV IN. I can't comment on exact models as I live in the USA.
Also I hate to say it but the image quality of the Panasonic recorders is not very good and they are to be avoided.
