How do i check the bitrate of my current .mpg files?
If i right click go to properties >> advanced, i see nothing

I agree with this also. Movies that I have encoded in the past show a different average bitrate with bitrate viewer. Virtualdub numbers are closer to true knowing what I encoded to clip at.Originally Posted by jagabo

from memory(hope its correct)
right click on video that is playing select properties, it will display audio and video information in top right corner of video.
