I am not sure if this is the place for this discussion but here goes. I have the feeling that I need to install a high end ie: GeFORCE 6200oc AGP 256MB DDR instead of useing the on board 64mb in the mainboard. hs question is that I have no idea how to uninstall my drivers that are on the board. Not in add/remove and disabling them in the hardware manger did not work to do the job. The motherboard is a Shuttle MV43VN v7.3 VIA P4M266A. The bios does not have a turnoff onboard Video and no jumpers. I need good advise on how to do this so as to install the new video card. Thanks. RL

So... Maybe over in the general computers forum?

Some mainboards are automatic, allegedly, if you put in another video card the existing one gets disabled.

And Windows can work with 2 video cards together if it doesn't. Just disable it in Windows profile.

More than likely you can, and should, disable it in BIOS.
    Have a good one,

The 6200 isn't what would be considered "high end". In any case you can simply add the card into your shuttle system and the savage graphics port will become inactive the next time you boot the computer and transfer control to the available AGP slot. There is a jumper on the board which disables the video but you only need to use that if adding a PCI graphics card.

the 6200 is definately not high end, actually its pretty useless for todays games. just slap it into your AGP port boot computer and install the nvidia drivers for it, shouldnt have any problems.

Now lets discuss why you think you "need a high end video card" maybe we can help you with that also.

3D acceleration has little to do with "video".

Tell us what you want to do with this machine.
