Boy do I love being a newbie. Been through it so many times it's ridiculous. I looked back at previous posts and did a search and didn't quite find the answer to my question.....so here it is:
I read the FAQ and I know the TECHNICAL difference between PAL and NTSC. The PAL image is a bit bigger but the NTSC allows more frames per second. What does this mean in REAL TERMS? Do more people use PAL because the image is bigger or NTSC because it allows more frames per second?
Thanks,
-Nate

Nate,
NTSC is what you want to use if your using a DVD player in the USA.
PAL is used in other countries.
If I use PAL my VCD play in black and white with no sound. -
Thanks! That's too simple.....I wish it said that in the PAL & NTSC info page. Thanks.
