I have an Epson 900 and used Ritek hub printable for the past year or so and loved it. I was able to use the Plain Paper setting with standard "photo" quality setting, with a -1 density correction and got amazing results. I was happy with the matte finish and I thought the colors were very rich and vibrant. Best of all, it was dry in a matter of minutes. I have also used Prodisc and BeAll's in the past and hated the print surface. It sometimes took days to dry.
Unfortunantely, since the Riteks are now crap, I ordered some Verbatim 8x hub printable DVD-R's. It was between that and the TY, but I read that the Verbatims were a little bit better as far as printable surface (is this true?). For those of you that have used both, how does the Verbatim surface compare with the Ritek surface? What is the best setting to use with the Epson 900 for the Verbatim? Thanks for the help!
