Since ebay links are temporary, what should I do? Should I still post it? I have a Symphonic WFR205. It records on (-)R and (-)RW discs with 1X, 2X, 4X, and 8X speeds. There is a one-touch dubbing mode to convert VHS to DVD and vice versa. Also, it features 6 recording modes ranging from 1 to 10 hours of recording time. It plays Region 1 DVD Video/RW/R, DVD Video, Compact Discs,MP3, and VHS. It also has an S-Video hook-up. I hope this info helps.

  2. You really should explain what you are talking about. Personally I have no clue as to why you posted in here. Are you selling something on ebay?

I think that you will find ebay is a "dumping" or "testing" ground for new products, that may be so new they do not have a retail shelf market share.

That goes for lots of products, lately I have been researching fishing reels, water pumps, gensets & blank dvd's that only appear on ebay searches.

Reality is, it may simply be the the same factory in China (for example) producing a top brand (or crappy) dvd player with their top brand logo & next to it is the similar generic product that has a totally different brand name on it.

    What was the question again?

I *think* the OP is trying to say that they were going to post a review of their DVD Player in the DVD Players section here but the only www link they could find refers to the product on EBay. IMHO I wouldn't post a link to EBay.

    But I could be wrong.
    If in doubt, Google it.

Damn...... you understood that? Nice job!

Guess you upgraded that crystal ball of yours.

P.S. Would this thread sit better in Feedback?

Initially I thought it might have been advertising.

Good catch, jimmalenko! I guess I was tired when I originally wrote the thread and forgot to mention it's purpose. OOPS! OK, here is what I am trying to do. I was trying to put the Symphonic on the new DVD player list. Not having a valid link, I decided to post the information in the hopes that someone might be able to help me. What I need is a macrovision hack code so that I can convert my VHS tapes to DVD's and thereby archive some of my macrovision-enabled VHS tapes. I guess I should have mentioned that before! Well, if anyone knows of a VHS/DVD hack code for my Symphonic WFR205, PLMK. Thanx.
