    Some one please help.
How do I make a DVD of my home video clips?
They are .mov files(quicktime) converted to mpeg(tmpgenc), but can't get them onto dvd-r and play in dvd players.
    Always get a "disk error".
Tried nero burn - and -sonic software.
It's got to be simple, I hope. Please help.

Author the mpg files to a real dvd(vob, ifo, bup files) using for example tmpgenc dvd author. Or click on Tools and Authoring (DVD).

That or get a DVD player that will play mpeg files burned as data files.

There 's other tools, you're burner probably came with them. You can check the tools menu for other options. There's free tools like ifoedit but that is by no means going to be easy to learn.

You have to author the disc though, you can't simply burn the file unless you player supports that.
