I have three mpeg2 files (all with the .mpeg extension) that I'd wish to burn to a single DVD. All three files are 1GB in size, so it will fit on a DVD-R.

How can I make ffmpegX convert rather than encode the three files into a single VIDEO_TS folder? Can they be merged so that each file is a chapter or something like that?

  2. If they are already DVD-compliant, you can use Sizzle to author them to a single VIDEO_TS folder.

When I author it in Sizzle, Apple DVD player plays it back on one half of the screen stretched, so it looks weird. Alright well this isn't a Sizzle forum I think I'll head over there, thanks guys.

Sizzle has fields to set Aspect Ratio (4:3), Video Format (352x480) and Video System (NTSC). You're sure you've set the format right? 'Cause on my test Apple DVD Player played back as intended.
