  1. I am trying to add different languages sup or sub files onto Smallville season 5. How can I do this and make it onto a dvd?

    Type this into the "Search our entire site" box on the main page:
    dvd add subtitles
    and start reading!

  3. Hehe, searching is always the best way since questions such as yours have been asked countless times. It shows us that you're willing to do your homework before posting with a question.

    There is an app called SRT2SUP, but, in my opinion, it makes lousy looking subs. Here's a longer but , again, in my opinion, much better way to do it. I copied it from a post at Doom9 once and have used it successfully a number of times.
    Convert SRT to SSA, then import SSA into MaestroSBT, do the proper style changes, font, size, colors, etc., position of subtitles, then press generate (To remove the black line, in MaestroSBT under Rendering, check the bottom left check box entitled "Don't Clip bitmaps").

    Once done, use SON2VobSub, once conversion is done, use SubToSup. Subtitles will be very much nicer than with SRT2SUP.
    That will give you SUP DVD subtitles, good for using in Muxman and IFOEdit for authoring. Maybe other authoring apps can use them, but I'm not sure. I think that some can use the SON files that MaestroSBT generates, DVDMaestro anyway.
