Maybe the artists should file a class action against Sony for loss of income due to gross incompetence on the part of Sony's management.

I'd say it highly unlikely anyone who knows about this story will be buying a Sony CD any time soon.


And if I were them, I'd use the RIAA valuation estimates when determining actual revenue lost.

It's been in NYT, MSNBC and USAToday a couple of times. That's not some niche group. Sure it's not the lead story of you local 6 o'clock news, but it's been spread around well. And I'm doing my part to make sure it continues to spread...
