  1. Why are my Ulead burned VCDs more prone to skipping than the ones burned with other programs? is there an issue on what speed i should burn them at? i have tried 1x all the way to 8x and the same skipping happens.

Hm... I've never had any problem with Ulead-made VCDs. I do them on 2 computers, with burn speed of either x4 or x6, it seems there's no difference.

I have to concur with Keffie. Never made a coaster yet with Ulead VideoStudio burning @ 8x and I use the bulk CD-R no name brand from CompUSA played on my Pioneer DV-343.

  4. I have the same problem with DVD Movie Factory. I used this program to burn my first SVCD because I wanted to easily create chapters. After several minutes the SVCD started getting the jitters no matter if the camera was moving or not. I then burned the same mpg using Nero with just the basic menu and everything was perfect.

  6. I couldn't get on with Movie Factor at all, but DVD Workhop is great. I burn VCD SVCD full speed no problem. Everything play on my Danai 852.

  7. i extracted a bin into a SVCD mpeg using VCDgear. the mpeg's size was 783 mb When i burned it on my 80 min cd with ulead it was very choppy and definately unwatchable. does VCDgear have problems extracting mpeg2 files or is that too large of a file for ulead to handle?
