I think I'd be happy for either team. Houston has NEVER been to a World Series. The last time the White Sox won was in 1917, wiyh Shoeless Joe.

White Sox are on fire this year, and Houston has been known to make mistakes, so I think I'd have to place my money on Chicago, though secretly wish for Astros to overcome the odds.

Astros! I grew up near Houston and used to go to games all those years when they sucked it up. Now they've got a real chance. Plus I went to school with Brandon Backe. Weird guy, but cool.

Its amazing that the Astros have made it for the first time since I was growing up to make it to the world series. Living in Houston in most of my years I have seen many Astros games, even one live at the then-Astrodome and I always have commented how much they sucked.

Well, it looks like now that hell froze over.

Just like when the Houston Rockets won their first NBA championship back in 1995, it was a huge event for the city. If the Astros can win the World Series, it will be a first in history that they have won anything major like that.

I dont think it matters who wins, but I am hoping the Astros will pull it off. They made it this far, so I think it will be a monumental event for them, even if they don't win.

It'll be a good match of two fresh teams (No Yankees/Cardinals/Braves) so that should be good to watch. I'll take the Astros in 7 due to the Big Three (Clemens, Oswalt, Pettitte). But it's really anybody's game.

It is kinda fitting though asking for the Astros to throw the series to the White Sox...after all the White Sox threw the last one.

Don't really care. But if I got to pick, I'll say Sox. I grew up near Chicago so it's almost my home team. To tell you the truth though, I would rather play just about any sport poorly than just sit and watch someone else. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I don't reconize the skill and talent of professionals, but I like to think that I am a hands on kind of guy. Now when it comes to boxing or kick fighting, I think I will just watch
