I tried using it 2-3 times in the past, but it was slow and it sucked.

I'm currently trying to get the latest Knoppix LiveDVD off BitTorrent, and in spite of having loads of "seeds" it's really slow. I wonder what's going on.

PS - In case you're wondering why I'm not just downloading it via. FTP or HTTP, BitComet allows me to limit the download speed so I don't hog our shared connection. I can also stop and restart it... But if anyone can suggest a way I can get it other than P2P I'd really appreciate it!

From any file archive close to you, ftp or http. Just use Netlimiter to limit the download speed. If you use a download manager (of which several are available) you can also pause, start and stop and resume later.
