satellite install guy just left we got HD channels and i noticed that he didn't use the HDMI out from the Sat box to the TV's HDMI input instead he used 5 cables that look like RCA cables they look bigger and they where pluged into the back on the TV where it says HD.
Wouldn't using a HDMI cable give a better picture?

They used Component cables with audio. There should not be a significant difference in qualiity but in dpi.
