    Hi all,

I now have files like .vob, .bup, and .ifo. The total size is too big to burn onto a 4.7 gig DVD with Decrypter. What is the next step?

I only have windows movie maker and windows media player as other burning software. Movie Maker won't even recognize these file extensions.

    Thanks for any help!

Is this freeware free of spyware etc. What's a good legit site to download it?

DVDShrink, DVD2One or any other transcoder can do the job. Or, you could split to two discs using something like VOBBlanker. There's a few guides in the guides section under DVD Backup that can assist.
    If in doubt, Google it.

    Thanks!

I tried the trial version DVD2One as you suggested and it did shrink the files but the extensions .vob, .bup, and .ifo are not recognized by the trial version of Alcohol 120% I also downloaded to burn.

    Did I do something incorrect?

How to burn an already authored DVD-Video folder(VIDEO_TS)

DVDShrink can use DVDDecrypter, Nero or CopyToDVD to burn automatically for you. I'd suggest you try the DVDShrink / DVDDecrypter route first as it's as good (if not better) IMHO than any of the software you pay for, and it's totally free!

    If in doubt, Google it.
