From DV to DVD

Hi!

After having captured video from my DV-camcorder and edited the captured video in Avid Free DV - what is the best way to get this video onto DVD?

I only want to use free programs, MPEG2-quality should be as good as possible, and I would like to make the DVD complete with menus.

Avisynth + HC should give you the best quality mpeg2 concerning free programs. For audio encoding BeLight (with BeSweet) or ffmpeggui. DVD authoring with menues : gui for dvdauthor. All free.
