  1. I had posted a topic in the DVD players forum about a problem I was having (https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=279890). I finally got a reply (https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1377248#1377248), but when I went to click on it, I get an error message "Sorry but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum". So how am I supposed to see the reply if I don't have access?

It usually means the posts were locked by a moderator. Also usually for violating the AUP (Acceptable Use Policy.) PM a moderator if you don't know why and they should be able to tell you.

Looking at the first link, I don't see where you got a response. Your second link points to a topic that I think has been removed. Did you double post originally? If so, then a mod probably removed the second copy.

Here's what seems to have happened. One of the moderators here responded to your post. For whatever reason he decided to remove his post by moving it to the closed topics thread where only moderator's have access. So there's no glitch or anything, the poster just decided to remove his post.
