TV show avi files to dvd

So ok, i couldn't find anything on the forum about it, so i'll post my question to you more experienced dvd burners out there in this newbie section. I just got a new computer with dvd burner (finally) so i'm dying to get the burning going.

I downloaded a first season of this tv show. All .avi files of about 175 mb. I got Mydvd, but i can only fit like, 3 eps on a disc with it, but i wanna put the whole season (24 eps) on preferably 1 disc......which probably aint gonna happen (right? i mean, is that possible or not), so then 2, 3 max? What's the best way to do this?

apologies if this has already been posted, i know how annoying it is when people ask the same questions over and overrrrrr, so you can just yell at me if u want to, i'd prefer sum help tho......8)
