    I installed this today and attempted to open an MPEG 2 file. I get the following error message:
    "MPEG Import Filter: ivalid pack position at 3. marker bit not set; possibly MPEG-2 stream.

    The prior version 1.5.... has no problems opening this file.

    Any assistance will be appreciated.

    You need either the latest version of virtualdubmod or use what I always use for mpeg to divx - virtualdubmpeg2. Vdubmpeg2 is designed for mpeg input.
