  1. Hello there!
From what I've been reading here at VCDHelp, TSCV is the best free menu/chapter editor available. However, the software cannot be found at the informed link. Does anyone know if there is any other place where I could get the file?

    Thank!
    Marcos. Brazil.

  3. HI sinstaker!
Thank you for the link! Too bad it's got bugs. So is there any other good tool to create menus/chapters besides this?

    Greetz.

  4. HI again Sinstaker,
As you've been working with TSCV for some time I was wondering if you could give me a little help.
Well, I created the chapters, built the menu and... Well, what am I supposed to do now? Press create cue/bin to create the images? Well, I did it and nothing was created. There was a message saying the file was too big. Well, I don't think it was - just 470Mb file that fits perfectly if I burn with VCDEasy (with chapters working but no menu).
Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?
    Marcos.

    Hi!
Tanks for the link Truman! Havenīt red it yet but it look good.
I havenīt tried the latest version of TSCV so I donīt know what it can do!
TSCV are based on Xml editing (GNU software, you can find the link on the tool section). and you can do everyting as tscv can do with just a text editor. I havenīt tried it so I donīt know how it works, but I will try it son.
MarcosJP if you mean the function still and motion-menu Generator on the "MenuGen" tab. Iīm sorry canīt help you with that. I tride it once and it didnīt work for me, so I made all my menu in the Potoshop and then encoded it in TMPGenc. If you know how to work in a video editing software (Premiere). You can make even beter moton menus. The only bad thing about that, the mpeg file canīt be to big. I have tried 5 meg and it worked in TSCV. I belive that your menu are to big. I have tried 10 meg and TSCV responded "The menu are to big". But you can always try to make it bigger than 5 meg, how knows it may work!

    A tip!
If you are creating slideshow try not to use the TSCV to encode the mpeg. Encode it manual (TMPGenc a great encoder). Ad the mpegīs in the slideshow folder. Badly, you can only ad jpeg in the TSCV, it dosenīt matter which jpeg you use, it only ned the same name as the mpegīs.

Do annyone know how this, I would like to choose the menu options with the arowkeys and the enter buttons (like the DVD menues). Can it be done at all on VCDīs?
Tanks (this is probably not were i should type this question )

    good luck

No. VCDs simply don't support this function.

    Tanks for the info vitualis!
Could it be posible to trik the DVDplayer. To make it belive it is a DVD just to be abel to access the KEY funktion, without making a miniDVD. Are this DVD standalone funktion dependent on which laserbeam it use (CD or DVD beam)?
Perhaps you have to cange the program code completle, or ad some new srings in it, I donīt know, does someone else know?.
The reson Iīm asking is that Iīm a stubborn person and it has to be a way to go around it (maybe I'm to stubborn ).
The arrow keys are obviously on the remote control and the dvd player respond to the singnal? There has to be some kind of code, mabey not in the XML code but in the code of the DVD, and if it's there. I'm not an expert on this but if it's there it has to be away to convert it to xml. If it's not some other thing that I haven't thought of that makes it imposible!

To many questions I hope that someone has some answer!
    Regards
    Sinstaker
